John-Patrick Tracey “JP” Smith (born 24 January 1989) is an Australian professional tennis player who plays primarily with the ATP Challenger Tour, both in doubles and singles. He was a student at tennis at the University of Tennessee from 2007 until 2011, where the four-time All-American and reached the school’s No. #1 ranking in the singles as well as doubles.

The coach was Sam Winterbotham and American former tennis player Chris Woodruff, Smith became a regular in the top 10 college teams in singles and doubles . Smith commenced 2015 at the inaugural Onkaparina Challenger, but lost in round one to Marcos Baghdatis.
